You should not pay more to heat your home with Heating Oil.
The Government must extend the same level of price protection currently afforded to electricity customers under the energy price cap to households who rely on Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) and heating oil.

I am urgently calling on the Government to regulate the sector and introduce a price cap on heating oil - like there is on energy - before the winter truly sets in.
I was pleased to hear that the Government are following recommendations from the Competitions and Market Authority to regulate the sector - but now we need to see a clear timeline for implementation, and more generally, a rural focus to issues of fuel poverty.
