Westminster Insight Days - Manuela Perteghella MP

I am launching a new initiative for young people across our constituency: Westminster Insight Days.

These sessions are designed to give young people a first-hand understanding of Parliament, the role of an MP, and how decisions are made in government.

Our first Insight Day will take place on Monday 7 September.

The day will include:

Arrival at Parliament at 10:00am
A guided tour of the Palace of Westminster, led by Manuela
A debating workshop run by Manuela's team, giving students the chance to develop their confidence and public speaking skills
An opportunity to observe a live debate in the House of Commons chamber

The programme is open to 18 young people from the constituency, and applicants must be aged 16 or over.

Please note that, unfortunately, due to budget constraints we are unable to cover the cost of transport or food for attendees.

I believe this will be a valuable and inspiring experience for young people interested in politics, public service, or simply understanding how our democracy works.
