All-Party Parliamentary Groups
APPGs are cross-party groups that are organised by Members of Parliament and the House of Lords to focus on specific policy areas, regions or issues. Membership of these groups includes both parliamentarians and external organisations.
I am the Chair of the APPG on Shakespeare, and the APPG on Citizens' Rights. I am also a Vice-Chair for the APPGs on Hospitality and Tourism, Gaps in Covid-19 Financial Support, Italy, and Visual Arts and Artists. I am a member of several other APPGs.
Gaps in Covid-19 Financial Support
The All-Party Parliamentary Group to acknowledge the challenges faced by UK taxpayers excluded from government financial support during the Covid-19 pandemic, to address the failings of past provisions, and to develop equitable solutions ensuring no one is excluded from support in future crises.
Please see the official website here, and the Parallel Parliament website here.
APPG on Visual Arts and Artists
The All-Party Parliamentary Group to advance the understanding of how visual artists carry out their practice and develop their careers, promote the value artists and the visual arts bring to society and the UK economy, and to foster an environment in the UK in which the visual arts sector can flourish.
Please see the official website here, and the Parallel Parliament website here.
APPG on Italy
The All-Party Parliamentary Group to further UK-Italy relations and discuss issues affecting both countries.
