Privacy Policy
Manuela Perteghella MP and her team are committed to protecting your data.
The majority of correspondence we receive from constituents is what we class as casework. To manage casework, we use a secure system called Caseworker.
In order to set up a case, we always have to ask for address details to ensure that we are assisting constituents. Strict Parliamentary rules mean that we are only able to help constituents. If you are not sure who your MP is, you can check here
If we are acting on behalf of constituents in a personal capacity, we will ask you to complete an Authority to Act form. This is a form that authorises us to contact third parties on your behalf. Many of the agencies we deal with will insist that we have this authorisation before proceeding.
When taking up casework or policy questions on your behalf, we may need to share the personal data you provide with government departments, local authorities and other public bodies.
Almost all of our operations are conducted electronically or by email. Written correspondence when received is scanned into our Caseworker system, then shredded. We do not keep hard copies of personal information in the office.
Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information requests
